Maybe Lisa Blunt Rochester will run?

She probably wants to serve a number of years in the House before she runs for higher office.

Worked for Tom Cotton and Steve Daines.

Caught up with Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del), who like Pelosi says he might have retired had Hillary won. Now inclined to seek 4th term.

Wow we may actually have zero Senate retirements this cycle...

At a time where Democrats desperately need new blood.

I get the logic of wanting to hold the fort, but its funny to me that people would rather stay when they're the minority than when they can actually accomplish things that help people.

Accomplish things that help people? You must be one of those naive Bernie types who need to learn how the party works. You don't need to be in the majority to vote to give more power to the CIA, which is Tom Carper's only reason for existing.

Uh, lol?  The post included Pelosi and others like them who choose not to retire to stay in the minority.  Not just Carper.  Thanks for your input on my personal character though.  I'll be sure to take your advice to heart.

I was being sarcastic.
