It seems his cult has finally fallen in line regarding his tax returns.

I don't think you're reading it right.  59% still thinks he should not release them.

Pre election I can recall a poll where the majority of Trump supporters wanted him to release is tax returns.

Oh sorry, I misinterpreted your post.  I didn't realize that you meant "falling in line" with Trump.

Clearly Obama & Bush economy has negatively effected Trump voters - Look at how they were effected. Trump voters are the more worse off!

Can't blame them, if they are the only group of voters much worse off, then they would vote for Trump just to change it!

Sadly, it's certainly not a cult, otherwise he'd have done no better electorally than Lyndon LaRouche has ever done.

This is what happens when all facts are treated as of relative value. Alternative media sources have been feeding this beast for far longer than Trump has been running for office. There are no consequences for their pathological lying and misleading of gullible individuals, only more and more profits.

Oh look, the supposed elitist gold standard PPP that was humiliated as a company is doing its best to get back in the spotlight by firing at the same supporters that proved them oh-so-wrong in state after state.

Let me just set up a stereotypical rural high school educated ultra trump supporting sample size and expect completely unexpectable answers from said group.

What a sad and petty group of people, lol.

These results just appeared on the Rachel Maddow Show

Then you can probably file it under "suspicious"

definitely.

I'd be surprised to see this poll reported on WaPo, NYTimes, CNN, or any of the respectable outlets.

Well under Obama he is leaving office with an economy better than when he came into office. Bush W. left the economy in pretty bad shape when he left office.

It's not just "Two America's" anymore. It's two different realities.

Your right, there is no consequences for pathological lying. A good example is when the mainstream media lied about the Kuwait incubator babies.

So no, the alternate media did not gain credibility out of a vacuum.

Politics always is, was, and shall ever be "post-facts"

Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

"A [not so] shocking number of Trump supporters believe in fake news, according to a real released by Public Policy Polling Friday. But that may be because nearly half of them trust President-elect Donald Trump more than they trust CNN.

According to the poll of 1224 registered voters, 14 percent of Trump voters said that they believed that Hillary Clinton was connected to a child sex ring run from the basement of a Washington D.C. pizzeria — a bogus claim that eventually became Pizzagate and led to a man bringing a gun into the Comet Ping Pong Pizza to investigate. Alarmingly, 32 percent of Trump supporters said they weren’t sure about the claim.

Nearly two-thirds of Trump supporters — 73 percent — and 42 percent of all voters think George Soros, the billionaire business magnate and democratic funder, paid protesters to organize in the streets against Donald Trump."

This kind of attitude is why the Democrats lost.

Wow, I've never heard this before! Roll Eyes

Actually, I have. And I couldn't give less of a f-ck. At some point we need to stop accommodating and coddling ignorance and bigotry. Apparently the Democratic Party is no longer a vessel for that. Maybe l'll lend my support to Jill Stein next cycle, where I can take a stand, make a difference, and send the Democratic party a clear message. What's the worst that could happen? Roll Eyes
