Good. All pro-choice people should join the party that does the devil's bidding. Maybe soon we'll have sensible alignment.

I have been thinking carefully about the election results all month. I will try to be as succinct as possible. The Democratic party is in unacceptably poor shape with no clear path back. There is no point in being in an irrelevant party if you want to have a say in American politics. I will represent the pro-choice, anti-war, centrist wing of the GOP. And yes, I have switched my support to Trump. Good luck, Bernie Bros. The ship is yours.

Oh yes, because people Beet hacked for at the helm of the Party were a smashing success.

When your party gets a few more pro-life Senators, then we can start talking. Wink

And lmao Beet, as usual.

I think this says a lot more about Beet than it does about either major political party.

This may come as a deeply unpleasant news headline to some here, but I'm staying put.

I've been in a bad mood because the forum is trying to seriously 'debate' eugenics.

You couldn't pay me to switch. Anyone who becomes a Republican during this time is exceptionally awful.

lol, yeah, I mean when has the Democratic Party ever recovered after a losing a Presidential election?
After 1988, because 2000 and 2004 were rigged?

I was a Republican from 1989 to 2002. I will not switch back unless and until the party admits that: 1) Bush v. Gore was a horrible mistake motivated by party loyalty, not the Constitution, and 2) the SCOTUS does not need more people like Scalia, Rehnquist, or Thomas, it needs more people like Holmes, Cardozo, and Black.

I've seen this happen. Especially after 2002. They'll come back. I'd considered becoming independent, but I am waiting to see if we can revive the party in 2018 instead of just giving up.
