What pro-choice, anti-war wing? That's like being a member of the pro-EU, pro-immigrant wing of UKIP.

Let's not fight stupidity with stupidity.  Something like 27% of Republicans are pro-choice ... far more significant than the number of socially (or fiscally, for that matter) Democrats, I'd imagine.  They're just, for better or for worse (guessing most would say worse), not too hung up on it.

Not very many socially or fiscally Democrats, huh?

The Ron Paul wing.
Ron Paul isn't exactly pro-choice nor is he centrist.

Are you? Tongue
Beet said that's the wing he's joining.

The Ron Paul wing.

Ron Paul is not pro-choice, although a lot of his fans are.

I guess FF if he is actually serious, and that's what he feels is the best move for him. Now if he switches back in the 3 months, that's not as cool, lol.

Personally though, if the Dems disintegrate, I'm goin Green for sure

Actually, I'm pretty sure Paul Ryan's evil agenda includes banning recycling and renewable energy, so good luck going green.

Thus making environmentalism undeniably "edgy" and "cool", leading to a yuge electoral landslide for greens in 2030 or something lol

Oh no, the chicken little of the forum who makes whatever party he is in look bad has left the Dems for the GOP.  Whatever can we do.

Well, he said the sky was falling. And then the sky fell!

and now his posts have him literally living in Trump's asshole. It's totally pathetic. Honestly, he belongs in the party of Romney, Fiorina, Giuliani, Gingrich, and Christie.

Is he aware that you can be part of a political party and not approve of/support or even like certain leaders of said party?

Incredibly stupid. The best way to get back at the BernieBro Marxist millenials who will distroy the party and cast all forms of discrimination as meaningless "superstructure" is to support Jill Stein.

I might just do that if I'm feeling particularly vengeful in 2020.

On the flip side, I'm not actually an idiot and could never bring myself to cast my proverbial vote in such a meaningless direction. But I'll continue to sow discord regardless. You can try and take away identity politics, and to some degree you might succeed, but I'll be clenching on for dear life, kicking and screaming, as you pull it away. Everyone who's not a straight white male should be doing the same, because we've got a lot to lose.

Hagrid, I really like you but I'm increasingly tired at you implying Bernie supporters doesn't care about fighting discrimination and are on the path to somehow aid those willing to destroy everybody's who's not a white straight male. As a Sanders supporter during primary, I'm offended with the implication.

I know you're being angry and depressed, but you're choosing a wrong enemy here. We're not ones.

I wish this had more options, such as:

3. FM because now Beet isn't a member of my party
4. FM because liberal tears
5. HP because now he'll be predicting Democratic landslides every election

and so on.

Beet is still a mystery to me, but I'm not buying that he switched allegiances.

That would be the greatest change since opebo went from blue opebo to just plain nuts.  Wink

I think he is saying that there were many who don't, and who said screw it and either didnt vote or voted trump.  He's calling those out, not the others.

I'm not certain his party switch is serious (after all, what does he have in common with the GOP?), but then again he never was entirely stable, so perhaps it is wrong for me to apply logic to what he did.

Incredibly weak. Though, I think it's a FM, because frankly if you want to be like Beet and pretend that pandering to upper-class suburban whites is what matters above all else, then you should be a Republican.
