What if Hillary won the nomination and election in 2008? Then chose Obama as her VP?  Everything after 8 years same events happened(Death of Bin Laden,Gay Marriage legal etc). Although it would of been a narrow win for Hillary against Romney in 2012

I'm not sure I understand.  First she wins the election and then chooses Obama as her VP?  So she chose Obama as her VP in 2012?  Who was her VP in 2008?

There are way too many variables here that it's hard to determine the outcome.  How does gay marriage become legal?  I think Obama's and Biden's support play a big role.  I'm not sure Clinton would have done something similar.  There probably wouldn't be a Tea party movement if Clinton was the president (Tea party=whitelash against the black president).  Also how does Trump become the candidate?  The only reason he seemed to get involved in politics was because he was a birther.  If Hillary was the president, he would have most likely remained a Democrat and been very supportive of her like he was of Bill Clinton.

The Republicans have nothing on Barack Obama, a slicker campaigner than Hillary Clinton.,

Assuming the economy is about what it is now, and Hillary hasn't completely alienated whites (a reasonable assumption since she had to get reelected to get to this point), Obama improves over Hillary among white working class voters in the Midwest and elsewhere and completely curbstomps Trump. With the VP bully pulpit and his charisma, he likely has no need to pander to SJWs, but he's still running as the prospective first black president. 2008 map, maybe add Missouri.

Obama is absurdly clean for a politician, especially a Chicago politician. I sincerely believe (and Nate Silver does too) that Hillary Clinton would be the President-elect without the email thing coming to light like 10 days before the election. That turned off a lot of reluctant Hillary voters. So, with no Obama scandals or controversies, he wins.

Not to mention, Obama has charisma for days and wouldn't have a problem with youth voters like Hillary does.
