We're currently undergoing the backlash to globalization phase. People are seeking to regain national control over their markets.

But this is what will come after we're done flirting with nationalism.

Incredible assertion. Joseph Stiglitz has an amazing piece on this. But even classical economists were against this phenomenon while nowadays a large share of the financial & many other industries have resorted to this!
