And here's the governor version of this.

I'm going with Cooper, and it isn't even close. All the rest are terrible.

Phil Scott. Justice is 2nd, Cooper - 3rd, Sununu - 4th. (in fact 2-4th place distribution could be in any order, but i appreciate Justice victory in the state which went +42 Trump)

Holcomb, I guess. Burgum, Scott, Greitens, and even Justice also seem good.

1. Phil Scott (R-VT)
2. Chris Sununu (R-NH)  It's close though.
3. Jim Justice (D-WV)
4. Roy Cooper (D-NC)
5. Doug Burgum (R-ND)
6. Eric Holcomb (R-MO)
7. Eric Greitens (R-MO)
8. John Carney (D-DE)

Exactly.  Don't tell me that ticket-splitting doesn't happen.

Ditto on Scott, who was the only Republican on to win on the entire statewide ticket in Vermont, and Sununu, who won even as New Hampshire was electing an all-Dem congressional delegation (although I doubt it will last past 2018).

If 2018 is a good year for Democrats Kuster and Shea-Porter will probably both survive. If it isn't they're in trouble.

Eric Holcomb. I think it will be a return to the Mitch Daniels years.

The second district is not voting for a republican. But the first district doesn't seem to be moving leftward at all - Guinta was only defeated by a hair despite all his scandals.

One of those other Republicans.

Any insight into why your politics changed in such an unfortunate direction?  You now prefer a socially liberal Scott over other Republicans?  I thought you had a kind of populist streak, but now you just seem like a generic (though significantly more bitter) liberal...

Anyway, easy Scott vote.

Greitens is the best, though Scott and Sununu are both very promising. Cooper seems pretty good for a Democrat -- there's a good chance I would've voted either Libertarian or just for him outright if I lived in North Carolina.

John Gregg didn't make it, he would've my pick by far if he had.

As for Scott, he's least likely to go Brownback for ANY reason...and that is far more important than any social or cultural issue.

people who run Delaware are bad unless proven otherwise. It's basically the state version of the Cayman Islands.
