For, me, my times have been mixed. Sometimes it's wonderful, sometimes its hell, most of the time its somewhere in the middle. Most of my bad/happy times have been based on interpersonal relationships and not school itself.

EDIT: inspired by bagalman's similar question about college.

TDAS04 is the OP for the college question

By semester they were: Awful-Awful-Good-OK-Bad-Good-Not good-Good-Decent-OK

However, a big caveat is that these standards are somewhat low, 6+/10 is "Good". So maybe lean more towards mixed.

Bad times freshman through junior year. It was okay my senior year. The fact that I was inches away from dropping out in my first two years and was incredibly suicidal for the first three years pretty much seals that it was a bad time.

I still wish I could be a senior again, though.

Bad times, but could have been worse.  My grades were sometimes great, sometimes not.  I didn't have many friends, though I was not severely bullied.

Honestly there were a lot of bad times and life wasn't easy for me, but I still have this extreme nostalgia for that time period - more so for earlier years. Things were just so much easier then, and I didn't feel so alone.

I think the mixed option kind of misses the point, so I voted good.

There was good and bad. On the whole they were probably worse than not but nostalgia has started to set in.

1st year started horrible, but got better. 2nd year sucked. 3rd year rocked. 4th year has been alright so far, still got half a year though.

I'd say good times, some of the best of my life so far.  I still see and keep in touch with many of my classmates.  Smiley

eh very mixed- start off very well when I was 13-14, sucked for between the ages of 14-16 and then got much better when I was 17-18.  Most likely as a result of my emotional development/coming to terms with my sexuality/puberty combined with people generally getting better the older they get

Freshman year was pretty terrible, sophomore year was a mixed bag (hated it at the time but it made me a more mature, better person) and junior-senior year were fantastic. Junior year especially was probably among the best times in my life; senior year I suffered a bit from overwork and just piling too much on.

Lean Good, on the whole. To be fair, I'm 19 and currently a college sophomore, so I'm not far removed from it at all.

Voted for good times. In all honesty, freshman year is probably better characterized as part of middle school; I was a different person then than I was 10th-12th grades.

Lots of variation. Freshman year was pretty good, sophomore year was spectacular, junior year was God awful, senior year was meh. That being said, I am very satisfied with my academic experience in high school.

Freshman (05-06): Slight FY
Sophomore (06-07): FY
Junior (07-08): FY
Senior (08-09): Massive FY

The Junior and Senior years was when I started going the politically obsessed road, often of the liberal/populist variety. Granted, I was much more moderate politically than now, but a staunch Democrat.

I'm not found of my time in high school, or my k-12 education really. What part of it I remember at least. I tended to be the loner bully target.

was a struggle while i was there in actually completing all the work. easily 4 times heavier than my college workload. now i actually look quite fondly back on those years. would relive if i could. got some serious respect back then.
