Just chased the wrong girls that pretty much every other guy chased.

And girls were a big part of our attention cycle.

Then 10 years later in life when i was 25, some of those 15 yo girls who no one paid attention in grade 9 were suddenly the hottest nicest women on the planet.

Part of me then wished i was a bit more 'Donald Trump' on those girls as they were basically ignored right through high school.

I can feel a 'i will date you in ten years time' joke coming on.

I did not snag the girl of my dreams in grade 7-8 which left me devastated and when she came into my life at 21 at University, i was no longer interested.

Pretty uneventful expect my Senior year.

I had my first job, so it was stressful. Still connected with them to this day, though less directly.

During my senior year, a lot of my class mates discovered I was a prankster. Got my first and only detention for putting Tabasco sauce in one of my teacher's coffee.  Which sucked, as I was usually extremely good at getting myself out of trouble.

Bad times politically, but good times in my personal life.  Wish I could go back.

Terrible so far. Sophomore year is better so far, as I've learned to walk fast in the hall ways, where no teachers officially supervise and so bullying takes place, and not sit anywhere near people who can be mean if I can help it.

9th: Horrible Year
10th: Better than 9th, but still horrible
11th: about the same as 10th, maybe slightly better
12th: also horrible, but was the best because it was my last year.

Sports and music were really the only things that made my high school years worth remembering.
I did start becoming a lot more politically involved in 12th (likely thanks to Obama's campaign, though I was still somewhat active in high school thanks to my general dislike of Dubya). Didn't really have any friends, just a lot of teammates and classmates. Was bullied a lot in the earlier years.

Overall K-12 was pretty terrible, I don't really miss it, and I don't currently speak to anyone from that time period, nor have I in quite some time. Probably won't attend any reunions, either.

If we're doing year breakdowns

Freshman: Tilt HP
Sophomore Likely FF
Junior: Safe FF
Senior: Lean FF

These are all in the past for me, but I thought it would be funny to use election rating lingo.

Also, I feel like my memories of high school may become super-relevant sooner rather than later. With the Republicans in power, me nursing a crush on a tall brown-haired girl I can't have, and Code Geass of all things getting a new season, it's time to party like it's 2006!

Mixed overall, broken down by year:

Year 8 - Bad to OK (worst year of school was Year 7 by far)
Year 9 - Massive surge of growth from Year 8
Year 10 - Holding the fort of my gains from Year 9, lean good. Wouldn't want my standard of life to go back to Year 10 levels (10 years ago for me now), if you get my drift.
Year 11 - Lean good to good.
Year 12 - Amazing!

I want four years of my life back. Just awful.

It has been eight years since I graduated, and already, there is only one person I talk to from there, and I don't even talk to him that much.

Everyone else treated me like garbage, and I treated everyone else like garbage as well. That pretty well sums it up. College was much better, and the real world is still a massive improvement over birth high school and college.

Freshman and sophomore years were awful.  Junior and senior years were better...but still bad.

Considering I had to be homeschooled online from 8th grade through graduation due to my crippling anxiety disorder, I'd say pretty awful.

Generally, very good times (though not as good as college or, believe it or not, the years right after college).  Senior year was obviously the best, and I think I'd probably just count them down after that, possibly having sophomore year below freshman year due to the class load I had that year.

First year very bad, second and third year lean bad, fourth year good, fifth and sixth year amazing. Lean FF on balance, I think, because of the unforgettable times in the last three years.

Mixed. I really didn't learn much in High School was one big negative. The teachers were mediocre in general, and much of the subject matter pablum of me. But some other events in my life were good. I won't get into that right now. Smiley
