Hell yeah! The worst type of people in my party, the ones that also whine about music, movies and video games. Shut up you idiots, I'd be a conservative if I worried about that type of crap.

I would certainly not use such strong wording about Clinton and Lieberman, but I would venture to say that the idea is idiotic.

As I understand it, Lieberman was one of the primary reasons that the video game ratings system was implemented. He's been doing this forever. Take that as you will.

This is one reason why we should dread the possible Hillary V. Santorum race in '08 - or vote third party.

I'm more concerned about violence than sex, but I still don't support what Hillary and Lieberman are doing.

I say "good for them."  Nothing wrong with bringing up the topic and expressing concern.  While I love the games, I don't let me teenaged-nieces and nephew touch them, even if I'm sitting with them.  If a parent wants to buy the game for their kids, that's one thing, but I think these types of games should be listed as "adult."

Yes.  It comes off as a corny way to get support from conservative family voters.

These two are disgusting social conservatives.  Let the GOP be the party of censorship.  We don't need two.

I feel that there isn't enough violence in movies and TV shows now..likely the reason why I don't watch many TV shows and movies.

The simulated, cold, breathlessly idiotic TV/movie "sex" I can heartily live without.

If Democrats would stop supporting this sh**t, it would help them politically.

All they're doing now is scaring progressive voters into supporting a third party.

Stripping party labels from the argument for a moment, I don't see anything wrong with these two taking a stand.  However, their message needs to be tweaked.  While yes, some of these games have hidden easter eggs in them, the games themselves are already "mature" to begin with.  So, the burden lies on the retailer as well as the parents to ensure they sell the games to the proper audience.  If a parent wants their pre-teen kid to play the game, let the parent buy it.  The retailer only has to ask for ID and say "Sorry, not old enough."  Simple solution.

Dee Snider, a vocalist of Twisted Sister in fact supported Al Gore in 2000 because of environmental issues.

That's too bad. I remember watching something on VH1 about Al, Tipper and a few others that were grilling Snider and the rock industry about this stuff. I loved how Snider destroyed Gore even though I actually agreed with Gore and some his views in the '80s (that's how much I dislike Gore).

Anyway, I voted no. One of the few things I agree with Hillary on and just another thing I agree with Lieberman on.
