Isn't this an example of government intrusion on the rights of businesses? Is that not decried by the GOP when government mandates businesses serve LGBTQ individuals? And isn't a $2.3 million expense like this also an example of meddlesome regulations?

Yes to both, which is why it's stupid.

Any law that could stop one person from getting an abortion and demonstrate that they are terrible, terrible things is a freedom law.

So do you support making preventative (not Plan B) contraception more available? Seems the best laws to prevent abortion are ones that help people avoid unintended pregnancies

I don't have a problem with contraception other than Plan B being available

I think its a harmless law and it may actually help women who really want to keep their babies but are being pressured by a man to get rid of it find safe places to go.

How does the government have any right to mandate that a business use its own money to advertise something that, while potentially helpful to a woman, could be viewed as a political position? Would it be acceptable for the government to mandate that businesses direct women to places where they could receive an abortion? Or is the only difference between the two that you oppose abortion?

How so? Sounds like all they're doing is providing women with information as to where they can go to get help should they choose to carry out their pregnancy.

Basically, ending abortion is such a justified cause that the ends justify the means (as long as you aren't killing people)

i would tend to doubt that oklahoma's recommended centres actually help women in any way Tongue
