I vote for Locke, as Decartes himself admited his logic may very well be flawed.

I vote Locke; the whole life, liberty, and property phrase beats all.  Descartes is still very good, but does make some logical flaws despite being father of modern philosophy.  I mean he uses circular reasoning to prove God's existance.

Although Locke certainly isn't perfect, he beats the inane idiocy of Descartes any day.
