Obama is going something, and it might possibly be unflattering to Trump. That equal "Tyranny" in the minds of the Trump cult.

That's what we're in for, for the next four years. Criticism of President Pussygrabber will be "treason" and disagreeing with him (or whatever the cultist in question takes away from his gibbering glossolalia) will be "sedition". Hopefully when Trump eventually goes full Jonestown with his cult the secret service and military can keep him away from the nukes.

Breaking: OBAMA DRAWS LINE IN THE SAND. SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES TO FOLLOW

Less flippantly, I can say that is one thing that annoys me about Obama: the proverb of his ancestors is to speak softly and carry a big stick. Big scary pronouncements with little consequence or follow-through has always been his biggest weakness as a person.

Good! Hopefully he starts a clandestine war against them! But if Trump does it, it's bad!

Look at the Republicans and jfern falling over themselves to defend America's President-elect, Vladimir Putin.

Obama has been president for 8 years. He knows the ramifications of his actions and rhetoric. The president-elect does not.

Yeah, there is really nothing good that can come out of this sort of bold posturing. He's a lame duck with the opportunity to humiliate himself on the way out. He could also get us all killed, but I know he's smarter than that.

I don't know why this is a partisan issue. Trump has nothing to do with it. The election results won't be overturned. Even if it's all true, the results are still legitimate. So what does the GOP have to lose by acknowledging Russian hacking and retaliating?

It's to Putin's benefit to act in an ostentatious fashion. I'm not sure what we get out of the posturing. Most other world leaders could be cowed into backing down and I could understand that being the goal, but I don't exactly see it happening in Russia's case.

True, but the Second Cold War is fully underway and Putin's Russia has scored a major early victory with the 2016 election result.

Just for perspective, the first Cold War didn't start off too well for us either, with China turning Communist, the Korean War  ending effectively in a stalemate, the crushing of the Hungarian revolt, Fidel Castro taking Cuba (giving the Soviets a foothold right on our doorstep), and the Soviets scoring a major symbolic scientific victory with Sputnik.

Posturing? What about protecting our citizens? So it's now open season on Americans now by Russia? What's the point of even having a government if it won't protect us?
