Post a quirky fact about yourself.

I actually enjoy vacuuming.

Normally I'd say, I love reading maps...but this is a coven for map lovers.

So here's this:

I have perfect musical pitch.

QUIRKY:
I will routinely wrap my fingers around one another.  (For example, I will place the tip of my pinky finger between the base of my ring finger and the base of my middle finger.)  I wasn't aware I did this until I was in college--one of my friends is a native ASL speaker; she's very aware of what people do with their hands, and she pointed it out to me.

DOWNRIGHT NERDY:
To learn song lyrics, I've started translating them into Esperanto.  In the past 3 years, I've done 18 songs, ranging from Broadway to novelty to country but mostly 80's and 90's pop.

Does it count if I really like coffee? Or is that cliche?

I suppose I enjoy vacuuming as well

When I'm thinking about something unpleasant, my ring and middle fingers on my right hand twitch. No idea why. Also, the tops of my pinkies are bent inward towards my other fingers.

Memorizing signatures with poster's names, avatars, and number of stars.

Well, not really, but I do memorie avatars enough to point this out: Our D. C. Avatars are NOT proportional to how D. C. votes:

2: R(Beet, Derpist)
1: D(Stranger in a strange land)

Peter the Lefty was a Green, and the only other D. C. avatar I remember.

I love putting bbq sauce of various kinds in my cooking.
There was one time I had pasta with peanut butter, olive oil, and some other stuff. It was good. I have flexible tastes.

I have a weakness for vintage shopping; mainly just shirts and jeans but I've spend north of about £200 of my wages in the last year on it (which has got me about 15-20 items since it's dirt cheap)

I've also got a tick from revising for my exams where when reading I need to twirl a pen in my hand

me too, comes and goes.  It's mostly been gone in my adult life (because I've gotten good at avoiding phrases and patterns that set me off) but it sometimes rears it's ugly head.  Usually on the phone for some reason.

My tendency is to regard reality as a sitcom or television drama, and to refer to people as "characters" and to higher power as "the writers". If someone exhibits a new or unexpected behavior, I might balk, saying "your character doesn't do that!"

*I post on Atlas.
*I enjoy vacuuming.
*I drink over 5 cups of coffee per day.
*A favorite snack of mine is rice drizzled with soy sauce and "Mongolian fire oil" (a spicy mix of oils with with garlic, onion, and chiles).
*My hands and fingers move a lot.

I could go on and on.

I develop random and bizarre semi-obsessions; for instance I recently developed an interest in The Weakest Link and so spent my free hours for several days watching videos of it on YouTube, reading its Wiki pages etc.

When I order an Indian takeaway (which is quite often) I almost never go for a sweet and popular curry such as a masala or a korma; rather I tend to go for heat - vindaloo, phall, pathia etc.

Also, a long time ago, after I managed to win the original Super Mario Bros. game repeatedly (without using the warp zone), I got more obsessed and virtually memorized the steps of the game, which I recited in my head during my free time.

I still have that game and the NES Classic Edition Console.

I'm the same way with Super Mario 64.

Like my friend, J.J., I'm a professionally registered parliamentarian, which is the geekiest side vocation ever.  But I love it.

I'm exceptionally partial to primates, and just the mere act of having one in a tv show or movie will most likely make me like said show/movie more.

I never put salt or pepper on my food after cooking.

I've never had a full cup of coffee

A few of my friends have said I'm the personification of reddit's TIL because sometimes I just spit out random facts.
