I might have missed some, but the exit polls I saw in the afternoon showed overwhelmingly Americans chose "Strong Leader" as their #1 preference. I assumed that favored Trump.

Also, 46% said move in a "more conservative" direction. 46% isn't a majority, but a helluva good amount.

I actually was somewhat optimistic about those exit polls. Granted, those were the only ones I read before taking a nap and then turning on TV to watch results.

Of course in the end Clinton won the PV by 2%

You're deranged if you think Trump will be a strong leader.  He can't even handle Saturday Night Live.
