As I've said many a times I don't see the need to take it down to 7 seats; I assume the argument is that it would increase activity but I remember serving back when we only had the Senate with 6 seats and we'd still struggle to get all 6 people involved. I fear this would happen if we reduced the House down to 7

During the joint committee this failed, so now it is back in the Senate without proposed amendments form the Senate.
