Describe your ideal climate. Doesn't even have to exist in your country or on Earth.

Mild; essentially what I've heard Oregon weather described to be like, minus the rain.

Cold snowy, winter with a relatively warm to hot summer and four distinct seasons.  For the most part, the climate I live in IRL, except a little less snow than I like.

Variety is the watchword.

Winter should be cold and snowy, spring should be bright and sunny, summer should be warm without being sweltering, autumn should be mild and colourful.

Honestly, the climate of the Pacific Northwest (sort of a cooler variant of a Mediterranean climate, albeit with more precipitation in the winter) isn't that bad, in my opinion. Add a bit more sunshine in the winter, and I'd be quite happy with it.

Tallahassee is perfect. I wish it'd rain a bit more often. I like rain (not multiple days of downpouring rain, but a nice storm every once in a while is great).

Of course, every time a drop of water falls from the sky, the power goes out citywide. So that has to be dealt with first.

Cold Mediterranean. Get the cold, get the snow, but you'd have to be a dingus to actually get frostbite.

Get warmth, but never to the point of sweltering

And rain would be a rarity.

Iceland, the Cascades/Sierra Nevada mountains, that's where it's at.

Seattle, but with more rain/less sun during summer. Alternately London with far more cold/snow.

New England, but with slightly cooler summers and slightly warmer winters, plus more rain and it'd be nice to have more snow around Christmastime.

I'd be proud to be a pussy there........I remember when I visited last, a few of us lads went out to dinner and drinks in sport coats and we walked by the pool and all the chickas were in their bikinis.  They weren't cold, we weren't warm.....awesome.  And, since I'm obsessed with playing golf, there isn't a better place to tee of on New Year's Day than San Diego.

Moderate year round. I could tolerate 2 weeks of cold and 2 weeks of heat; but other than that the weather is just annoying. It seems that we have close to 6 months of too cold or too hot in Philadelphia. About 3 months of winter when it's too cold and 3 months when it's too hot and less than 6 months of ideal weather.

Moderate is somewhere from 69 F to 77 F, at least as the high for the day.
I could tolerate 60-90 highs, although 60 is a little too cold and 90 is a little too hot.
I know that I'm very picky. What I really don't like is long stretches of heat, where it's over 80 in the evening for a month or two. Even less I don't like lots of snow and freezing rain and ice.
I don't like to drive in it either. Winter seems to last from December 1 to about March 21, and that's too long. Although I usually get through with the thought that "this will be over soon".

We do get a few perfect days, and I tell myself "wouldn't it be nice to have this every day".

Yeah, I can understand where you are coming from as a horny old man. Speaking of the type, here is one near his crash pad in Laguna Niguel - in January. Tongue

Western WA weather, basically, with maybe a bit more sun. I absolutely hate the snow.
