With the first results coming in, Trump has a comfortable lead in Vermont.  I think think we can call the election now.

From 2014. Anyway, Saudi Arabia has surpassed the US in percentage of women in the legislature-

Well even if there was only one woman in Congress, the US would have more women in a legislature that has any actual power than there are in Saudi Arabia.

In 2020 at least, I think that her being a Muslim would be somewhat of a liability. Maybe 20-30 years from now America might have a Muslim contender for president, but I don't see it happening in the near future.

Linda Sarsour running for President?  With the country's current attitude regarding Muslims, ESPECIALLY Trump's base?

Not only would she not make it, but she'd be lucky if she isn't Bobby Kennedy'ed, especially with some of the crazies in Trump's base.

It would be hilarious to watch Trump crush her on election night.

I agree with a lot of what Linda Sarsour says; however, she isn't a viable Presidential contender.

The Ellis Island Immigrant groups were all staunchly Democratic in their early voting habits.  As they moved up the economic ladder and moved to the suburbs, they moved toward the GOP.  First it was the Italians who shifted to the GOP in significant numbers, then the Irish and Eastern European immigrants such as Poles and Greeks.  All of these groups are significantly more Republican than they were in, say, 1948, when Harry Truman beat Dewey.

The one group that stayed loyal to the Democratic Party were the Jews.  Jewish voters have voted Democratic in every Presidential election, and that includes McGovern, Mondale, and Obama (both times).  They have done this even though the Democrats have shown progressive sympathy to the Palestinian cause, affirmative action, and in spite of their status of being of higher income and in professions that are often considered Republican bastions (entrepreurship, finance, medicine).

If Linda Sarsour, or someone like her, were ever on a national ticket, Jewish voters would become as Republican as WV Democrats became.  For good.  And for good reason.

I like her and she's a massive FF in my book, but there's too many alt-right trolls that slander her.

Slander?  How?

She's said what she's said.  It's a window into her soul.  I prefer that folks with souls such as hers not hold public office in America.  Frankly, I require my public officials to love America and wish it well.

Perhaps Milo vs. Cenk Unger on WWE in a steel cage match, lol.
