A) We're a bunch of map nerds who definitely can spell every state
B) Why should I care?

Not until the ability of Alabamans and neighboring states (except Georgians) to calculate without using their fingers reaches double digits.

I don't consider Alabama "South East". The same for Mississippi. I'll have to go with South Carolina

I'm always impressed by those who can use their fingers to calculate double digits tbh.

While I could point out the obvious, it should be noted that the most and least Democratic states in the Northeast weren't exactly short and sweet ones to spell either.

And then you've got the next closest after that tough, only 5 letters....whoa.

I realize RINO and white trash are posters in this thread, but I'm pretty sure even they can spell "South Carolina" quite easily.

LOL, I like how I argued with you - using exit poll numbers, not what I wanted to be true, as you do - about your delusional conception of your party's voter base, and you immediately flew into a fit of name-calling rage and accused me of being a troll, somehow deduced that I can't spell well?

And, of course, the great irony in all of this is that I AM one of the affluent, college-educated Whites that had previously voted GOP but voted for Hillary Clinton; it just got your panties in a wad when I told you that, as one of these voters myself, I did not think these voters were going to become loyal Democrats in your fantasized new party system.

Hell, at this point I would believe that you are a Republican strategist, and I must say: you're doing a great job of portraying a fake Democrat so unlikable that no one could possibly believe it's a real person.

Sooth Carolina?  Hmm, nope that's not right.
South Couraleena?  Nope, not it either.

You got me.

What's so tough about spelling Alabama -- unless one is tempted to use doubled consonants? As polarized as Mississippi, but with a smaller black population.

Alabama or Tennessee.  Alabama is pretty much certain for about 60-65% R, based on demographics, but Tennessee seems to still be trending more Republican.

I think it's time for you to take a break. You've been an awful poster for a while but post-election you've been intolerable.

If "most Republican" means biggest Republican margin in a presidential election, then Alabama is the clear answer. It's had the widest margin in the region in every election since 2004.
