With no Republican on the Senate ballot in California, both Trump/Harris and Trump/Sanchez are considered Trump/D without additional distinction.

The number of Trump/Schumer counties in NY is hillarious.

What is not funny is that NY Republicans haven't got any serious candidates to run for the Senate unless there's an open seat.

Interesting how there are several Trump/Feingold counties but no HRC/Johnson counties even though Johnson won by a larger margin.

Would it be possible to change the focus on the light red color - it is hard to distinguish from the darker red.

Interesting. HRC's strongest counties must have gone for Feingold, but by a lesser margin.

Plus, Johnson got a much bigger margin in the WOW Counties than Trump did.

Both Clinton and Schumer won Nassau County, NY, so it should not be light blue.

Hillary won every single one of those plus Orleans county the last time she stood in a general election. Of course that was 10 years ago in a Democratic wave election against a sacrificial lamb.  Her performance in this Presidential election in upstate NY was quite poor, she was the first Democrat to lose it since 1988. Even Kerry managed to win 4 more counties upstate than her.

It's interesting to compare Hillary's performance in NY presidential primaries from both 2008 and 2016.

2008:

Only one country for Obama, despite him winning 40.32%

Now, eight years later, Sanders got a similar share of the vote (41.97%), but the map is green as hell:

One of the things I found most interesting about this election is how most of the polls overstated the Democrat numbers, but in New Hampshire, it was the GOP numbers in the presidential and Senate contests that were inflated.

Well, I guess Chuck Schumer's ad blitz paid off. What a waste!

Chuck Schumer is a bit to the left of Joe Manchin.

Jimmy Dore mocking Chuck Schumer is the best thing ever.

The young turks are pretty main-stream IMO & The corporate media have lost touch.

But Jimmy Dore is a true radical, he is the tea party of the Young Turks & is as "Purist" as it gets. Guy even ranted on Ellison a while back, he doesn't like any1.

Schumer is a very shrewd politician. Even Hillary spend so much in ads.
