How did you initially discover this website, the US Election Atlas? I found it while I was in fifth grade, when I googled "alternate us states" (US geography was the first kind of geography I was interested in, then it switched to the world as a whole and now it's back to American geography) and found this thread from Antonio V; which interested me but I did not really check out the rest of the site until after this year's election, and I finally decided to make an account at the beginning of December.

I think the first time I can remember is googling' "Virginia trending Democratic" and then I noticed a lot of searches about political trends had results from this forum.

Been using the site since 2000. I didn't discover the forums until 2008, or so.

I was looking for fictional timelines for the future 2016 election (back in 2014), ended up finding someone's TL here, and got interested in the rest of the site over time.

I think I found it shortly after the 2000 election when looking for results.

I was linked to it from another political forum (this was back in 2004).  I forget the name of the website, but it was dominated by conservatives and libertarians.

I was searching detailed information in English (because information in French was frustratingly poor) about the 2011 Danish parliamentary election and found Hashemite’s blog, which linked me to this website. I lurked the forum for about 2 years before making an account.

Around 2000 (before the election) I was looking at a page called statistical resources on the web, which linked to uselectionatlas.org, and I found and joined the (old) forum in 2002.

Searched for political forums on Google because i was fascinated with how actual American's were digesting the Donald Trump phenomenon.

At first i hit a couple of forums where the Trump hacks had moved in so it was impossible to have a normal conversation.

The discussions at the Atlas forums appear to last longer before disintegrating into personal attacks.

And we have BTRD. Enough said.

In 1999 I was searching the internet for election maps/info while in college and came across it, and it was true love at first sight.

18 years later, we're still going strong.

Searched for 2016 timelines in 2013, lingered for a bit, and later forgot this existed. Around the time of the Midterm election I remembered this site, and lingered for awhile again. Finally joined in 2015, but didn't post for like a year later.

I actually think I was linked here from Wikipedia while reading about some election.

Same for me. Purple heart you Wikipedia! Smiley

Also, this seems more like a Forum Community thread, correct?

Option 1.  I think I googled something like "Mississippi white voters Obama" and stumbled across a thread.  It was probably 3-4 years before I joined.
