I've noticed this about FOX, particularly with Hannity and O'Reilly. The constant fearmongering about ISIS and Iran, the kissing up to Israel, demonizing pot, the constant proclamation that cops can do no wrong, and other habits, have all brought me to conclude that they are not stuck in 1953, but 2003. Do you agree with me? What kind of conservatives buy and large run FOX?

Emotion driven "Reagan Conservatism" that can usually be boiled down to catchy slogans, anti-Obama memes ("forwards from Grandma"), soft neoconservatism, and slightly harder than soft social conservatism (War on Christmas stories, etc).

More succinctly described as:

Who cares.  The average O'Reilly show viewer is 72 years old.  That's how irrelevant these people are.

I watch FOX News every night. You kinda get cozy with the hosts. I love "The Five", I watch Special Report with Bret Baier sometimes, I always watch Bill O'Reilly and then usually "The Kelly File" at 9pm.

I really like Tucker Carlson's new show between Baier and O'Reilly.

But I was right about the election and many who lambasted me for my ways were incorrect. So perhaps my style has my finger more on the pulse of America than you would like to think?

Yes, the Orwellian "Two Minute Hate" can be stimulating and even fun. But I have seen how it works in other countries... and it isn't pretty.

That isn't "real" nor is it a ideology. Movement conservativism is an emotion.

Honestly at a loss for words how American conservatism, taken comprehensively, could constitute a "movement".

Yes, and what happens when you mis-forecast the next election or the one after that? Will you still claim to be the oracular guru you are today?

You were right, sure. But please stop thinking Fox News is the vanguard of the future or has some pulse on American thought (notably: Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million. This is not "pulse of America," this is "winning by drawing an inside straight.")

American Conservatism is dead.  Trump exposed it as a hollow shell for anti-intelligence and populism.

What part of populism hates social programs and pro-cronyism.

Populism is a tool, not a set of values. It can hate whatever it needs to.

Yeah. She won by 3 million, 2.4 million of which was from Los Angeles County.
