German (native) and English.

I had some French lessons at school, but forgot most of it. I was also not pretty good at it (other than English). I also understand a little Greek and Macedonian.

Besides English, I know some Spanish....not quite enough to be fluent in it, though.

I'll be in my second semester of Russian in 8 days. Took 2.5 years of Spanish back in the day.

I'm only fluent in English, but I hope to give learning Spanish another try soon.  After that, maybe I'll learn Norwegian.  If I learn Norwegian, maybe I could learn Swedish too and maybe even Danish, since the Scandinavian languages are so similar.

English (duh)
I'm fluent in Latin.
I have a large understanding and can speak a good amount of Italian
My maternal great-grandmother spoke Swedish mostly and I've learned a great deal of it.
I know a little bit of Hebrew and have mastered the alphabet.

So, how did you go about becoming fluent in Latin? Like, did you read a bunch of Roman poetry or listen to sermons in Latin or something? I imagine getting beyond high school level would require a lot of difficult study.

I'm debating whether I should take up Esperanto on Duolingo.  Since there's a two-semester foreign language requirement for my college, I want to spend maybe half a year getting a head-start on the language I pick (currently leaning towards French) because I was embarrassingly slow when I tried Spanish in middle school (and had to be switched to a different class entirely to make up for it) and Latin in high school (where I was fortunate to have a very sympathetic teacher who went out of his way to accommodate for that and my other learning disabilities).

Esperanto is often used as a precursor to people who plan on learning a new language and that might benefit me more.  Though I feel like I may have gotten a taste of that when I spent some time on Norwegian and Swedish, which I pretty much stopped doing upon learning that most Scandinavians already know English and thus it would not be worth the time and dedication becoming fluent in them.

Fluent in English. Speak some German (though a little rusty). I know phrases in Spanish. And a few words in Yupik.

I study Spanish and French although I'm probably dropping them soon and I speak English as it's my native language.

I was pretty good at German in high school, but I lost most of it.

I'd love to learn Interlingua. Apparently it can be understood by speakers of any Romance language, and from what I've seen it's definitely understandable from both French and Italian.
