I've met both Reeves and Vogel due to my involvement in College Republicans (GMU).

Assuming this news is true, I just have to say that this is very disappointing to hear from the Vogel Campaign. I hope that they cut this crud out. Immediately. Period.

There's no need for this type of gutter politics, we've had more than enough this year already from the 2016 election.

Ironically, Vogel is/was an ethics lawyer.

If the message did indeed originate from IPs associated with their home(s)/cellphone(s), then they are probably responsible. Sure, it could be a setup, but that's really unlikely given the circumstances. The simplest explanation here is that she resorted to dirty tricks and was too stupid to cover her tracks.

It reminds me how some progressives/civil libertarians say how Obama being a Constitution Lawyer means that he knows how to "shred" the Constitution.

I'm supporting Bryce Reeves for LG after this lazy form of "dirty tricks", and if the GOP nominates a bad candidate, I'm voting for Ralph Northam this year.

Looks like the GOP will be shut out of statewide offices in Virginia.... again. Ugh.
(If anyone cares, I'm endorsing Reeves in the primary.)

Does anyone know if Reeves or Vogel is in the lead polling wise?

As long as we don't nominate that schmuck Corey Stewart, we'll be fine in the end.

Most recent poll that I'm aware of from late September had Vogel 13%, Davis 12%, Reeves 8%, Undecided 66%. Anyone's game.

The VA GOP is free to throw away a winnable race if they want to.

Also, the likely Dem candidate's name is Justin Fairfax. Yeah, I'm liking his chances.

For example: Ken Cuccinelli.
