What is your opinion of the new California Senator-elect, who will take office Jan. 3, 2017, and is seen as a potential 2020 or 2024 presidential contender?

I don't know. Every detailed analysis of her I've seen so far has been solely #discourse about whether or not she's "identity politics".

FF. Virtually going to be the future of the Democratic Party. One of the 'spiritual leader' of fundamental rights advocates.

A bit like Jerry Brown, and why not, both are Oakies.

Quite obviously bright, good record, always seeks out practical solutions to problems regardless of the expediency, principled, and the results turn out great.

And just like Brown, I say this while disagreeing quite highly with a lot of the staked out positions taken.

Knew she was going places when she first appeared in the headlines for her "smart on crime" approach after becoming DA for The City, never thought the Senate would be the way though.

Everything I've heard about her suggests that she's a massive FF. Probably not the kind of candidate we need in 2020, though.

As AG she inexplicably slow rolled the investigation of a nuclear power utility. Some are saying it could have implicated top Democrats

She actually has decent personal appeal, but we need someone more left of center.

So far over-rated, another Marco Rubio has done nothing major in Politically elected office. I would like to see her for 5-6 years atleast & then pass a judgement!
