When are we seeing the updated voter rolls?

Also, do you intend to administer the federal census as scheduled?

The voter rolls have been updated, but t35.com is being a bum right now Tongue

Anyway, there are SPIFFY NEW FEATURES on this update of the voter rolls.  For one, the field 'Name' has been replaced by 'Username'.  This way there is more continuity between voter rolls.

And, as if that wasn't enough, User ID is also included.

Also, 'Activity' has been replaced by 'Status'.  That way that column can be used for more than just 'activity'... now there are classifications such as 'co-reg' (DanielX's dual citizenship), 'no cen' (no census; Rin-Chan), and 'rebel' (should be obvious).

As usual, there will probably be lots of errors, but eh.

Well hopefully I'm not the only who is a little frustrated that I can't open the voter rolls, after waiting weeks for them to be updated.

I've started keeping a new voter roll on the Wiki.  Could people please let me know if there are any errors?

I checked the two that I track personally as a matter of course:

Your set for the Mideast is correct.

Your set for the ILP is missing RBH, but other than that is correct.

With the wiki, I don't think we'll have to have other voter threads.

Joe, your voter roll doesn't include my wife (Rin-chan)! Tongue

As of the last election, she was a 'new voter'.  As she didn't vote in the election, she was removed from the rolls again.

But she didn't vote because she wasn't eligible.  She registered after the ten day deadline.

Can I suggest this 10 day rule be addressed as part of voting reform?

Two quick questions:
1. How was the 'Profile ID' derived?
2. Will you be carrying out a census? Or will that be someone else's job?

It's the number that is assigned to your account when you join the forum.  Go to somebody's profile and read the last few digits in the address bar.

Err, I'll carry out a census, but I doubt I will post it at noon ET Friday, on the dot, like it says in that bill :S

Anyway, that's not that hard Wink and I suppose I could whip it up tonight if I really wanted to Smiley

OK, here's what I have:

Note that the census does not include voters who did not vote in the most recent federal election.

Do we count any registrations between the end of the election and now?

Article 4, Section 4, Clause 2:

The Governors of the five Regions shall apportion the various States to the Districts by a two-thirds majority every four months according to the census of those registered voters who voted in the last scheduled federal election which shall be carried out as the Senate may specify with appropriate legislation.

Note that this weekend's special election will not be officially certified until tomorrow at (at earliest) 4:00 AM, but probably a few minutes later... or perhaps and hour or so later if my brother get's on the computer before me Tongue

Anyway, don't have a cow if I don't certify it by then.  I think everyone can see my annoying marquees on the top of the voting booth, correct? Tongue
