Whether he's lying about Russia or not, he's absolutely correct that the democrats are trying to delegitimize Trump.

Love how pointing out facts are delegitimizing.  Trump being the dumbass that he is does that job totally by himself.

You can't delegitimize someone who has no legitimacy to begin with.

All Assange did was release facts about Hillary/ Podesta, and now you all think it's okay to undermine democracy because of it. If the New York Times had realeased Kellyane Conways private emails you wouldn't have cared one bit.

No.

Stop right there.

After the last eight god damned years, the GOP elected someone whose political activities were spending the better part of them whining about Obama's birth certificate. No one in any way connected to the Republican party gets to so much as breathe a complaint about the Democrats attitude and conduct towards the Republican president-elect and expect to be taken seriously.

If the positions were reversed, the GOP would be calling for Obama's (or any D candidate's) arrest on charges of treason. At a minimum.

If the tax-dodging, potty-mouthed, sex-assaulting, Russia-fawning, billionarie-bro, President-elect wants respect and legitimacy he can damned well earn them.  And if his cult of brain dead zombies want to imitate their infantile, deplorable, thin-skinned messiah and whine that the rest of the human race is rightfully and reasonably refusing to pretend that President Pussygrabber is anything but a bleak joke?

I find myself in the strange position of being solidly in the "Russia hacked Podesta and should pay for it, go Obama, go CIA, Trump is nuts / compromised / borderline treasonous" camp, but I also have a lot of admiration for Julian Assange. He is making himself into a historical figure of importance and the world owes him a great debt of gratitude for Wikileaks. However, he does need to face the law for his rape accusations.

He has quickly exploited his status as a patriot for freedom and will now be known as a fascist spy by history.

So in a nutshell, you're argument is it's okay to undermine democracy because Trump is stupid and "republicans would be doing the same thing". How principled. No one is asking you to respect Trump, only to acknowledge that he won the election. The media keeps repeating how the election was "hacked" which sounds to anyone who doesnt follow politics like we do as if the votes were changed to make trump win which is blatantly false. Lawrence O Donnel ran a segment two nights ago calling Trump a traitor and implied he should be executed for treason but gets off on a technicality, this is unhealthy hysteria.

Conservatives always seem to overgeneralize points into strawmen they can slay. He pointed out reasons why trump currently didn't deserve respect or legitimacy.

It makes me laugh to see blue avatars who had no problem delegitimizing Obama wringing their hands at the prospect of it being done to Trump. Seeing them flail by trying to tell Democrats that just because Republicans do it doesn't make it right, well, that's just the icing on the cake.

Well he's certainly earned the hatred of unhinged ranting lefties like you. That's certainly a good sign of him being worthy of respect.
