For those of you who are Democrats/red avatars/Clinton supporters, what would it take for you to vote and/or support Trump in the 2020 election?

Joe Lieberman somehow comes back and nabs the nomination.

I would never call myself a "Clinton supporter," as I felt a depressing, hollow feeling casting my vote for her (a decision that was made in the booth), but I would vote for an incumbent Trump if he tones down the intolerant nature of his campaign, which I'm pretty optimistic he will.  His lurching on fiscal policy, while annoying, is bound to be less bad than whatever the Democrats chalk up (hell, Hillary was worse).

If he embraces free trade, loosens immigration laws, does not increase the military size, and doesn't get us into wars like previous presidents have.

It would take a lot. The nomination of a Democrat who is either too conservative or too liberal or unqualified along with very high GDP growth, maybe around 3% unemployment, no foreign policy failures, along with a lot of other things. It would be unlikely.

Potentially the Democrats running to the extreme left and nominating someone to the left of Kshama Sawant

Any Democratic candidate crazy enough to make me consider voting for Trump would mean a legitimate third party candidate would probably enter, so I would vote for that person over Trump. So probably nothing.

This is actually a pretty good answer... although even then, it would likely be too big of a risk to leave Trump in the White House for 8 years (you would have a far far right Supreme Court .. And likely a ruinous financial state)

Not a Democrat but my conditions are...

Trump accepts climate change and defends the welfare state.

It would take a combination of him acknowledging his prejudices, apologizing for them, decrying racism among his supporters and actively seeking to build bridges a la Glenn Beck, governing as the moderate he may secretly be, and the Democrats nominating someone of Kanye quality.

Maybe if Trump were to suffer a traumatic brain injury that caused a complete 180 degree turn in his personality, outlook, political beliefs, and personal morality. Maybe.

Tulsi Gabbard, as bad third parties as this time, and Trump doing something against wall Street as well as a healthy economy.

Nothing. Trump would have to have a D by his name, not be racist, not be sexist, not have stepped on so many people, not be egotistical, etc

Old racist Andy Johnson returns from his grave and gets the nod.

Serious answer: There is practically no way I’d vote for the Trumpster unless the Dem nominee is a criminal or so. But would vote libertarian/third party before I vote for a narcissist fake billionaire.

He leaves the Republican Party, fires every conservative in his cabinet and WH, cuts relations with Pence, supports Paul Rya's defeat in a primary, signs into law the Democratic platform and publicly calls the alt right a bunch of virgins.

I'm all Republican, all the time.  I have simply decided that everything I like is Republican, and everything  I dislike is Democratic.
