I like the American ambassador to Denmark, but outside personal like of individual ambassadors why should anyone care? If you people have a spoils system, you should expect a man like Trump to use it to its largest extent.

     Indeed. The long-standing practice of giving ambassadorships to oftentimes unqualified supporters of the administration is an embarrassing one, and it makes this action basically a non-starter as far as news goes.

President-elect Drumpf just wants to close embassies until all these countries pay for it a hundred percent. Because the whole world, every single country, is ripping us off. And ripping us off big league. They take advantage and make fortune. Can’t happen any longer. We have to save money, but for that we need a leader who wrote the Art of the Deal. So, I am calling for a complete and total shutdown of all embassies around the world, what, by the way, also prevents another Benghazi because Tillerson can’t pick up the phone when help is needed since he will be so busy with making great and unbelievable deals. Believe me!

This is yet another example, the Trumpster has absolutely no clue how to govern. Sad!

Gimme a break that we don't have any diplomatic connections with the Obama donors leaving and the Trump donors coming in.........the career diplomats do all the work anyway, and as long as Senate gets its finger out of its ass, Trump's appointees can take their places quickly.
