Cuomo initially enters the conventions with a lead greater than Dukakis had, around 20%.  Then some skeletons, which allegedly kept him from running for president, come out.  Bush proceeds to run the most negative campaign in history, worse even than IRL.  Various skeletons from Cuomo's past come out.  Cuomo's charisma keeps it a close until election day.



Bush wins 290 to 248.
