I'm pretty surprised Askew and Glenn don't have any votes yet...

If I had to rank the candidates

1. McGovern
2. Mondale (bless this guy, what a snoozy field for this guy to come to the top, more liberal than most of the field, not as dull as Glenn, Cranston)
3. Glenn (seems like a good guy, someone i'd most trust with the Presidency among this field other than Mondale, but ultimately kind of hopeless and too centrist)
4. Jackson (probably the best ideologically, but also kind of a gross guy)
5. Askew (good governor but out of touch for national Democrat politics)
6. Hollings (some good issues but overall not my guy)

7. Cranston (makes John Glenn look like Huey Long, also corrupt)

8. Hart (ew)

Jesse Jackson. Certainly the most interesting choice, although Askew, Cranston, Hollings, Glenn and Mondale are solid as well. Hart is too controversial and McGovern seen as too leftist and already lost in a blow-out to Nixon.
