So many great cities here, this is a really though choice. I went with Dallas, though there are hardly any cities here I dislike.

How to even choose! So many great cities. Huntsville, AL would be top 3 for me if it was included. Pensacola, Mandeville and Savannah are great too.

1. Lexington, KY
2. Louisville, KY
3. Nashville, TN
4. Fort Worth, TX
5. Richmond, VA

1. Greensboro (oops)
2. Charlotte (actual vote)
3. Nashville
4. Richmond
5. Austin
6. Birmingham

...pity Lynchburg, Roanoke, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Asheville, and Knoxville are too small to count.

Ugh, so many good choices.

The above, but would I want to live in this "favorite" city? No. When it comes to actually living somewhere, Atlanta and Winston-Salem (charming town in a beautiful region) would be candidates.

I've only been to 3 of the cities on this list, so it really wouldn't be fair for me to judge which is the best. However, based solely on what I've seen and read online, I think I'd really like Tampa and Austin.

Of the 3 I've visited (Jacksonville, Orlando, and Richmond) my favorite is Orlando. Richmond is really nice too and has tons of history, along with a nice skyline. I live just outside of Jacksonville and while the Jax metro is my home, there's really not much appealing about the city. Orlando wins for the obvious reasons, plus the scenery there is quite nice as well.

Another tie for second! A three-way runoff will be held between Atlanta, Nashville, and New Orleans.
