Hillary Clinton, but I would support any Democrat except Bernie Sanders in the next cycle. If Bernie is the nominee, I will support Jill Stein or whatever other candidate the Green Party runs.

I would like John Bel Edwards, but it would look bad if he started his campaign right after reelection.

Kander easily, assuming he stays on the radar anyway.

But anyone besides Hillary or Cuomo is okay in my book.

I... agree?

Either someone sane like Cuomo or Kander or someone totally insane but fun like Pocahontas.

This was a Romney voter, folks! Tongue

Anyway, for PURELY looking at my ideology, I suppose Cuomo (though I dislike him personally)?  But I don't want the Democratic Party to reflect my ideology; I want the Republicans to.

Bel Edwards would be my first choice, but I would happily support 90% of this list.

Warren, for the reason that she's one of the easiest for Trump to smoke. Watching Trump debate Warren will be like putting Mentos into Coca Cola.

But I don't want the Democratic Party to reflect my ideology; I want the Republicans to.

Why? Why such partisanship? The Democratic party is a lot closer to you ideologically than the Trump Party - you know that, but, yet, you insist on sentimental attachment to Republicanism? I mean, it is not like these were sports teams.

Hillary Clinton, so Trump could wipe the floor with her again (:

A 2-point popular vote loss is now wiping the floor with your opponent. Water is dry, greed is kindness, and death is life.

There was a Governor's race in South Carolina that operated with this sort of logic, a Congressional Race in Utah, a Senate race in Wisconsin too.

At best, the same closeness happened, no need to say the worst.

Right now, I'm going with Sherrod Brown, but it's very early, and I'm definitely not going to commit to anyone permanently just yet.

This, although if Jason Kander could somehow take McCaskill's seat in 2018 or get some higher position within the next three years I'd be 100% behind him.

On a personal level Julian Castro as he comes off very likable in his interviews, on a political level Steve Bullock as on paper he seems like Trump's perfect antagonist
