>Graham says celebrating foreign interference in elections is bad
>OP says that Graham shouldn't say that

I don't even. I guess the ends justify the means.

Half the country has exposed itself as rabid authoritarians.  A foreign country just hacked our election and they don't see an issue with it.  The silence is DEAFENING.

We've already got it.  They're fighting it, and were letting them walk all over us.

Hell, I'm not exactly hysterical about Russia, but I have zero issue with the Obama Administration applying sanctions on Russia in retaliation for any cybercrimes from them regarding the election.

You can do that without starting a cold war and WWIII.

So our response to Russia's blatant and intentional interference in our election via cyberwarfare should be what, exactly? Nothing at all? Pretend it didn't happen? Just say, "ah, shucks, those crazy ol' Ruskies!"? No, we must call them out, criticize them, and reprimand them for their meddling - preferably via sanctions. Yet all we hear is how we "want Cold War 2.0 with Russia," how this issue is irrelevant, that it's completely made up, or that it's the fault of the DNC for having lax security. Russia committed the action against us, against a specific party, and a specific candidate, for a specific purpose. Now almost an entire party and people like yourself are objecting to our criticisms of foreign meddling. Incredible.

If Putin had done this for Hillary instead, and she won, she would be impeached for sure an greater than 50-50 removed from office.

Surely no one will dispute this?

The interference didn't change the result of one vote, and had no impact on the election.

There needs to be actual proof, before we start throwing rhetoric around like WMD's.

I've grown to respect him a lot more than I used to over the past year, so it's a bit of a shame to know he doesn't have an ice cube's chance in hell to survive the 2020 GOP SC senate primary.
They said the same about him in the 2014 primary. Unless whoever wins the 5th District special election decides to run for Senate in 2020 I think Graham should be safe in both the primary and the general election.

Graham should have been appointed Secretary of State.
