     I go in #atlasforum about once a month. The people I like mostly use #southernchat.

They are mostly two different kinds of chats, with two different kinds of userbases.

#atlasforum consists of older Atlas users, and the chat is more serious / intellectual (no offense #sc). Admittedly half the time I don't even understand what they are talking about, although I never was a big history buff.

#SouthernChat has a lot of "newer" atlas users (maybe 2015+, with exceptions), and the chat is more "playful" and much less serious. Plus, it's also Atlasia-heavy.

I like both, but since the election #atlasforum has seen something of a decline in activity, but it is active at night usually. One thing I don't like about #sc though is sometimes some users come in and spam and start acting ridiculous, and not in a good way. It's not funny. Just annoying.

In any case, #atlasforum used to be much fun. I haven't gone entered in a while, but it seems to mostly be foreign posters these days discussing things that I could scarcely comprehend. Unrelated to this is the fact that politics in general is much less worth discussing these days.

The old Atlas Discord is the most incomprehensible gibberish I have ever seen in my life lol. #SouthernChat is no longer the 'new generation' of posters. If AAD ever looked with disdain upon the younger members of this room (who, while still learning and growing up, are at least respectable), they ain't seen nothing yet.
