The 2000s, the golden age of Pixar. I'm a sucker for animation.

Favourite anime series?

Right now, moving. More generally, I always love Thanksgiving, and look forward to it every year.

Don't have one, and have no desire to get one. But it would probably be something like "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul"

Tough one.  Including only speeches delivered during my lifetime, some speech my Barack or Michelle Obama.

Would you rather have grown up in the 1950s or 1970s?

Yes, I'll be watching at dinner (it will be 6 pm in Germany) and even leave work an half hour sooner as usual.

In terms of actually caring about an issue, my grandfather asking me what I thought of abortion when I was in sixth grade and me having to ask him what it was, since I had never heard of it before.  In terms of following an election, I remember having some degree of interest in the presidential election when I was in third grade, but it was more like rooting for my favorite sports team than caring about policy.

Nothing interesting or worthwhile.

Think of the election within the past 5 years whose results disappointed you the most. If you could rig it for your favorite candidate without any risk of getting caught, would you?

No, as tempting as that might be. I don't think getting an outcome that I like better would justify cheating and overturning the will of the people, in my mind.

The "currents events" side of it? Definitely. The study of what lies beneath? Never.
