"What do you call a senator who's been in Washington for decades? You call him home"- paraphrase of Orrin hatch during his first senate campaign

Well yeah, but that is why we have Mia Love, Jon Huntsman, or Jason Chaffertz to replace him. Why should Egg McMuffin consider himself remotely comparable to them.

I might be (pleasantly) wrong about Hatch's chances, though:

Huntsman would beat Hatch in a Senate showdown, new poll finds

The Egg had every backing in Utah he could get and ended up losing with a third place finish lol. He will get crunched in a Primary.

Romney didn't publicly back him, although he likely privately voted for him. McMullin needed Romney's public backing to have any real shot at winning UT.

McMullin's ultimate destiny is to have a MSNBC show were he becomes the network's "conservative voice against Trump" and all his viewers turn a blind eye to the fact that he's a massive neocon.

Joe Scarborough didn't vote for Trump, and doesn't appear to be leaving anytime soon.. No need for McMullin.

-They won't turn a blind eye. They will say we've always been at war with Assad, the Houthis, and Putin.

Of course we've always been at war with Eurasia.

If McMullin runs as an independent candidate in 2018, maybe the Democrats should target Utah, which could give them one more Senate seat.
