Agree with him except for Tillerson. Not the best choice (Huntsman or Corker would be better from the GOP side), but far superior to guys like Bolton. I'd vote aye on Rex.

Kinda like saying you'd rather get shot instead of getting burned alive. Why not force the President to be accountable and nominate someone who isn't terrible?

I just heard a rumor that Toomey is voting against DeVos.  If this is true and there aren't any Dem deflections, she's finished.

That's not what the story says.  The story simply says that those four publicly say they're undecided, not that they're leaning for or against.  And as the story notes, Isakson and Scott never publicly commit to supporting a nominee before the confirmation hearing, so the fact that they're not committing this time either is a non-story.
