I'm crying because of this. The look on Biden's face when Obama said he'd be awarding him the "highest civilian honor" was beyond any spectrum of human emotion. These two really love each other, and it's so heartwarming. It truly is a shame that Biden won't be President.

This is magnificent. I was near tears when I saw it on television. Mr. Vice President, you really deserve this medal.

Mr. President, you are right, Joe Biden has been an outstanding vice president and served his country well, with dignity and a deep commitment for his fellow countrymen. As did President Obama. I couldn’t be prouder that these two men were leading this country, especially during my first years as resident and citizen. I will miss them both very much. They were truly great examples for people around the world.

This was pretty cool.  Not sure how serious this award is, TBH, and if it is serious, then Biden doesn't necessarily deserve it.  However, I admire that they could remain friends.  I always liked Biden more than Obama.
