Couldn't care less other than the fact that LA having two sh-tty teams is boring.

Wake me up when a hockey team moves to Seattle or the Quebec Nordiques come back.

A bad move, just like the move of my former favorite NFL team to back LA last year.

Teams should not be allowed to move. The NFL should have promotion and relegation like European sports, so if the free market says a second Los Angeles team makes more sense than a San Diego team, it can happen organically with the p/r process.

The only way LA should have had any team is through expansion. And thank God American sports don't have crappy relegation systems like soccer.

Yeah, socialism is bad except in sports.
Wrong. Promotion and relegation is the only hope that a state like Mississippi, Kentucky, etc., can ever have a top-level team.

Ok so I was #1 in favor of the Rams moving to LA, because the team had a solid history there, and I loved seeing that happen to St. Louis. I #2 wanted to prevent a move of the Raiders out of Oakland, because I think the fan base there is legit. Therefore, I wanted to #2.1 stop the joint Raiders-Chargers move to LA, especially because I did not want there to be AFC-NFC team swap putting either the Raiders or Chargers in the NFC. #3 if two teams were going to LA, I wanted it to be the Rams and the Chargers. So #4 I don't really care if the Chargers leave San Diego, BUT #5 this is such a bad move, because of the a. fans in SD, b. the lack of fans in LA, c. the horrible look it will be having an NFL team playing in a 30,000 stadium, and many more reasons.

I could rant forever about this, but its just a very bad move that doesn't affect me at all.

The Rams are the oldest surviving professional sports team in Los Angeles. The Chargers might not be as popular as the Rams in Los Angeles.

Ridiculous. The Rams should have never been allowed to leave Southern California in 1995, so their move back was more of a restoration than a relocation...the Chargers, on the other hand, have no business moving to Los Angeles. The fact that they are going to end up playing in a 30,000 seat stadium while the Rams had 80,000+ on average is clear evidence that the Rams are back where they belong and the Chargers should forget the last few days happened and stay in San Diego.

Last year, when the Rams moved back home, there was a considerable amount of buzz and excitement, while this year, almost everyone in Southern California is either angry or indifferent about the Chargers move. Just look at what was in the LA Times yesterday:

Rams already winning the perception fight with their new roommate
Chargers' task to win over L.A. is like climbing 'Mt. Everest'
Chargers shouldn't look for a welcome wagon in L.A

Is that why the Chargers logo got booed at the recent Lakers-Clippers game? I like 538, but they are dead wrong on this...
