Pence will also apparently be using the same bible Reagan swore in on.
Of course. Any good Republican knows our nation's motto is "In Reagan We Trust".

Uh, isn't this kinda problematic when it comes to the separation of powers, even if it's symbolic?

Why? Joe Biden was also sworn in by Sonia Sotomayor?
That strikes me as problematic too. Justices should be politically independent -- of course they have their political preferences too, but they certainly shouldn't be showing them this obviously.

Tradition should be that the Chief Justice swears in the President and the (new, if there's been a change) Speaker of the House swears in the Vice President, imo.

Pence clearly has no problem with folks who sexually harass women, so I guess this makes sense.

You mean like Bill.

Yes, or like Clarence Thomas and Donald Trump.  And FTR, I do think Bill Clinton should've been removed from office and that it's disgraceful that groups like NOW were nowhere to be found during that mess, but thanks for playing Smiley

Thomas's allegations have a lot less credibility. Commenting about female sexual anatomy is far better than multiple rapes of women. Neither allegations should be compared with the multiple rapes by Bill Clinton.

Didn`t know that Bill Clinton was ever convicted of rape.

This is why you are a fake moderate. You are nothing but a right wing hack pretending to be a moderate.

That is not true at all. Bill Clinton raped a family friend, and Hillary Clinton most certainly knew about it. I'd PM to you the exact details, but I do not trust you enough with my privacy.

Clarence Thomas has an incredible voice. He could definitely have been a voice actor in Hollywood. You know, the kind of voice you hear in every trailer ever.
