I was at the Trump election night party in NYC. It was EPIC and surreal. Trump's victory saved America from the European socialism, stagnation, open borders, and decay embodied by the Democratic Party.

That must have been some night to have actually been there.

How long did it take to get the party really started?  After North Carolina?  After Michigan?  After Pennsylvania?

Can you tell me which version of Winfield is better? Oh yeah...the one who wasn't obnoxiously infatuated with The Donald, how much are his cronies paying you to shill for him?

Winfield is a sad case study in one particular outcome of bullying. You see, whenever he was at all critical of Trump, many Trump supporters posted this (trigger warning):

In other words: "If you don't get in line and bow down to Trump, then you might as well call yourself a $h*tlery supporting Democrat!" It seems he succumbed to the bullying, and eventually took on that persona himself. Now, he thinks the only way to prove he is a Real Republican™ is to wholeheartedly embrace the new emperor of the Republican Party, and bully anyone who thinks differently.

It's quite sad, really. I think there still is good in Winfield, but he is too ashamed to show anything other than a fake Trump-loving caricature. If only he would realize that you can be critical of others who use the label "Republican" and still recognize as a Republican yourself. "Those who support Trump don't get to decide who is and isn't a Republican."¹ I don't expect to get through to him, though. After all, I'm just a butthurt crazy liberal who is wrong about everything. Perhaps, in time, he will become himself again, and cut the charade. The only person he is fooling is himself.

1) RINO Tom, 2016 (He probably said something like that, at some point)

Do I detect a tinge of bitterness still lingering on?

Sorry, but your personal insults and attacks are of no avail.

Hey, if Trump doesn't produce, I'll be the first one ringing the alarm bells.

Well excuse me for changing some of my opinions over an eleven month period of time.

I know I must be the only one during this entire campaign who has done that.

Oh, and thank you for placing such great importance in my old posting history that you would go to all that effort to determine what I said eleven months ago.

I am flattered.

I have probably been the victim of more insults on this forum than almost anyone else.

But that's fine.

I started believing in Trump victory, or at least in his possibilities, when I saw his first returns from Indiana, Kentucky and Virginia...but in the end he lost the latter bigger than Romney...am I stupid?

You should all stop bullying Lincoln Republican. He's a good guy and you should give him some respect.

He starts trolling, trying to get negative responses, and when he does he plays the victim and people call it bullying? With all due respect, get over yourselves.

Virginia always has a major Republican counting bias. Sometimes the first 10% is as much as 15-20 points behind the final margin for the Democrats. It's a fools errand to predict how any election will go by looking at the Virginia results.

I'm not sure why the original poster is proud of this. The first photo shows a decidedly homogeneous crowd, while the second is far more representative of the country as a whole.

I do not believe that anything Trump says or does will influence his base, composed of racists, bigots, and red necks, to alter their support for Trump, in any way, shape, or form.

Trump:

Believes women are bimbos, dogs, and fat pigs

Believes men have no part in raising their children aside from financial support

Believes Mexican men are rapists

Believes it is OK to ridicule and to make fun of the disabled and handicapped

Believes immigrants are going to murder you in your sleep

Believes all Muslims are evil

Believes it is fine to belong to the KKK

Believes it is OK to bomb babies and toddlers

Under no circumstances would I ever vote for this megalomaniac pathological liar fascist!

What Trump has been successful in is in whipping up people's fears, prejudices, racism, and hatreds, all the while playing the part of the reformist outsider.

He is the most polarizing, divisive, and dishonest politician in a generation.

He has absolute loyal support from racists, bigots, thugs, and red necks.

There you go with your typical liberal race baiting.

Well, I am absolutely flattered that you believe my posting history is of such value to posterity that you went to all that trouble to bring up some things that I said almost a year ago.

Pardon me, but I do believe that people have been known to have a change of view on occasion.

As well, I believe that Trump has, over the past year or so, moderated some of his former more extreme views.

Therefore, over a period of time, he became preferable to Crooked Hillary.
