Very mixed. On one hand, he's witty and a very active poster on the other place. But he can be  obnoxious, and his behavior sometimes bears similarities to popular guy at school who's unafraid of belittling those who are unpopular.

One of the better posters during this catastrophe, especially with his criticism of the Bernie movement that is sinking the Democratic Party down the drain.

I was under the impression that Obama presided over humiliating midterm losses and horrific defeats in the state legislatures. Frankly if Bernie wants to destroy the Democratic Party then he arrived a little too late to the, er, party.

Anyway, Lief is a FF for being interesting and high energy, which is more than can be said for most Dem establishment-supporting types.

I've seen other posters say this before, but I guess I just don't get it.  I mean no disrespect by this, but I just don't get what makes his posts funny.  I understand that he's often trying to be ironic, but that isn't necessarily funny.  What is a good example of a Lief funny?

(Then again I'm not sure anyone here has been able to be funny on a consistent basis since Lunar left, unless you count Aizen's sock accounts.  I mean, other than in a "laughing at them rather than with them" way.)

I've had some disagreements with various members of the Forum before, but the final straw is when you shoot out a PM to someone where maybe there was some heated debate, which I have both sent and received from members of ALL political avatars and ideology, and you don't even get the common courtesy of a reply, even when the message is sent within the context of "maybe I was a bit OTT on my post" or something of that nature....

Maybe my impression will change now that the GE season is over, and I did find his Trump-Putin baby avatar a bit amusing at times, the schtick got old, and I would rather have conversations with real people than fake internet personas....

Call me old Skool or whatever, but one of the things I love about the Forum is dialogue and debate and not simply one liner smack-downs....

Well firstly I don't dislike anyone on the Forum, unless they are a Neo-Nazi or bigoted troll, and when they occasionally pop up they get run out of town pretty quickly once their true colors manifest....

Hell, most of y'all that are of legal drinking age that imbibe, I would love to hang out and grab a beer or two, regardless of political affiliation, or if not chat over a cup of coffee, since the main reason we all hang out on this Forum in particular, is a shared interest, passion, and knowledge of politics.

I'm sure Lief's a great guy in person, just like most of the rest of all y'all---- although personally I found his online persona during the '16 primaries and GE extremely OTT....

Shoot, maybe by comment on the PM was a bit of excessive hyperbole, and some people probably don't enjoy my frequently excessively long posts....

We are now in 2017, so just goin' with the flow and always willing to reexamine and revise previous opinions from an extremely contentious 2016 election year.
