This scientist accepts climate change is real, but says it's good for the USA.

That it will also increase the USA's agricultural potential, as more of northern USA warms and becomes good farmland.


LOL. 

Hard to tell whether he's serious.  He's a physicist at Princeton so he's probably serious.

This really needs to be discussed with maps.

Well, putting aside whether global warming will make the flat portions of upstate New York along the Lake Erie into the new Iowa, oceans are supposed to rise, and the Hudson waterfront is at sea level. The Hudson River stays at sea level all the way to close to Albany, and even at Troy, the bottom of the river is at sea level. That is why supposedly the Native American name for the river in English was "the river that flows both ways." It has tides. Hudson loves its waterfront, and does not want to lose it. And then there is lower Manhattan (which was a mess after Hurricane Sandy), and on and on. Just a thought.
