What is the political future of the progressive New York City mayor who was an underdog in his whole career, starting as a City Councilman from Park Slope, Brooklyn, to Public Advocate, to 2013 mayoral candidate who beat establishment icons Christine Quinn, Bill Thompson, Anthony Weiner, and Joe Lhota to be mayor of America's largest city? Does he become president in the future? NY governor? NY senator? NY congressman? Or, does he face legal indictment from corruption and fundraising charges? Does he resign if there is a police-communities rift in N.Y.C.? Does he change the City Charter rules and run for a third term in 2021--something he attacked Michael Bloomberg and Christine Quinn for doing in 2008-09?

Would he be a good DNC chair/vice-chair in the 2020s or 2030s?

What do the people of New York think of him? That's what's important.

His favorability in NY state is worse than Donald Trump's.

Nice guy but complete boob the only reason he will likely win reelection is the GOP has no bench and he will somehow make it about Trump

Probably gets re-elected. I don't really have a solid opinion of him.
