Finally decided to try convincing the folks to let me "switch teams" again. Maybe I wasn't so clear in my coming-out essays, so this one will be a little more obvious. I am prepared for disappointment, but hoping to be surprised. The only problem is that I don't know what to say.

Update: "I" sent it to my mom, who, despite my insisting that she didn't, mentioned it IRL. Fortunately, that's the extent of discussion at that level, so I've been waiting for a response for about two days now.

Went hiking (is that what they call walking if done in the right location?) today. Decompressing with Chinese food and television.

Also, one of my professors to whom I went a'job seekin' emailed me back. Looks like I could have a work study gig as long as I remember to forget my own views; he said his areas of research coming up are a book on antiracism and a book on the history of Black utopian thought. Not exactly my areas of expertise, but any (paid) experience is good, and it might give me a better idea of either anti-government or anti-colonial movements than I previously had.

I had a weird dream where I was wandering around an area that resembles my middle school and high school in a weird way (the library was pretty close to my Middle school's), as well as some peoples houses, and was getting attacked some by people(IIRC some of the same people came multiple times), and had to fight them off. I remember it making dream me nervous and loathe to be alone, searching through school for someone I know. The attacks were obviously(I think the attackers had some weird symbol or something that was a sign of it, as well as being some of the same people and saying something about it) targeted at me for something I was. I think they were somehow involved in some Mormon(I don't know why) thing, and sacrificing me for some reason.

TBH it kind of resembles an unpleasant schizophrenic delusion...

Welp, I've either opened a door, or royally screwed myself over like I did last year (and a half technically) when I tried to stay in Virginia after graduation.

I've finally made good on my acceptance despite the high costs, I just finished my first round of registering for classes at Texas A&M.

"Shadowed" at my potential employer. During a talk with one of the department heads (or whatever?), I was asked about my interest in a job I hadn't applied for (she actually ran the department related to that, but was speaking to me about one of the two positions I had applied for). The reason I hadn't applied to that position (I had seen all of them on ZipRecruiter) was owing to the required experience listed. That said, she claimed based on my resume and experience might make me a candidate for background investigator. The HR lady gets back next week, so she will receive the recommendations of the two people I spoke to then. Hopefully, an offer is forthcoming.

I'll be honest, I wasn't really sure where to put either of you.  I suppose Peebs would be in that spot between me, BRTD, and Virginia - and Cath, I believe you have an ideology but don't speak about it at length because of social repercussions?

I certainly wouldn't describe myself as economically centrist.
