Uh, Eharding knows who Rochambeau was?

His role model, apparently.

Turned 18 and went to my local Democratic precinct meeting. Apparently turnout is way up across the whole county (2.5 to 5 times last years numbers). Got myself elected 2nd Vice-Chair and delegate to the county convention and got one of my resolutions to the county convention as well. Just need to make sure I can articulate what the resolution actually entails so I don't have over 50% of people abstaining again because they can't figure it out what it's about.

Congrats! Good luck with your fight (not too much luck lol); none the less you'll have fun!

Thanks! It's not a bill to ban Republicans from Atlas if that's what you're worried about.

Uh, Eharding knows who Rochambeau was?

EHarding said he likes to read posting histories and with this, I presume older threads, throughly. For a user who is less than 2 months old, it is kind of strange. Then again, we're talking about a user who just recently made almost 100 posts on March 6th alone, on top of his usual 35 - 50 posts a day. I don't understand how he got so obsessed so quickly.

I think the way Al once used to decribe Rochambeau fits our new friend too:

A knave, a rascal, an eater of broken meats; a base, proud, shallow, beggarly, three-suited, hundred-pound, filthy, worsted-stocking knave; a lily-livered, action-taking knave; a whoreson, glass-gazing, super-serviceable finical rogue; one-trunk-inheriting slave; one that wouldst be a bawd in way of good service; and art nothing but the composition of a knave, beggar, coward, pander, and the son and heir of a mongrel bitch; one whom I will beat into clamorous whining if thou deniest the least syllable of thy addition.

To be fair, Rochambeau's name has been mentioned several times in comparison to Eharding since the latter joined.  E.g.:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=259259.msg5534553#msg5534553

So it wouldn't have taken any great effort for him to have picked up on this.

Why is everyone in the region complaining about weather? I love gray skies.

Now I know how Al felt when Rochambeau's was roaming around...

-LOLOLOL

Why do you choose to communicate like this?

Because I thought Erdogan's claim was funny.
-No 21st century Democrat from California can be my role model.

-See, stuff like this is why I occasionally have doubts about Erdogan's objectivity.

I lurked in the forum for around three months before I signed up, looking especially at threads of great importance in explaining the more obscure aspects of past presidential elections.

Does every thread have to be about Eharding's posting tendencies? This thread is supposed to be about our lives, and what goes on. Yet, we've dedicated an entire page to Eharding's post average.

I was late to work today because the Anti-Circumcision protest movement "Bloodstained Men" held a demonstration ON THE BUSIEST ROAD IN THE CITY where my work and blocked the whole road.

If you're gonna do that, make it a worthy cause... Are those protesters liberals or conservatives generally? No idea.

In my experience, it's mostly conservative-leaning libertarians, but definitely not "Republicans." A significant amount of overlap with Reddit. I saw a flyer for one group in Seattle with the headline "Men's rights are human rights!" so... yeah.

Feel your pain. My car ride back home from the airport when I returned to France in the summer 2013 took forever because of anti-SSM protesters.

Got the day off and it's awesome weather outside, so I'll go on a snow-shoe trekking tour up the mountain, starting at 800m and up to around 2.200m

Yesterday, it snowed quite heavily and it seems there's 1 foot of fresh powder snow starting at around 1.500 meters. Great conditions for snow-shoeing.

Maybe I'll post some pictures later.

Here they are. I made about 200 pictures and videos.

One of the best days of the year so far ... Smiley

Let's start:

Taking a break near a hunting tower:

The ascent:

A quick look down the valley:

And up again:

And further up the woods (1.800 meters elevation):

Tender on top of the world:

There was apparently a protest staged for IWD called "A Day Without Women", where women just stay home. Being a woman (albeit trans and technically closeted about the fact), I tried to walk back home after I had already left for the bus, and failed miserably.

Not all programs require it, so no. PRAXIS and MAT take precedence anyway.

Fun fun D: Best of luck with everything. It's a long bureaucratic mess.
