I was supposed to have finished rewatching season 2 of Grace and Frankie tonight. I still haven't finished season 1.

C-SPAN is my favorite channel. The call-in programs are the best.

Overheard on the bus today:

"You know, I was going through a religious phase for a while, and I thought about becoming a priest. But I broke my celibacy six years in. It was Christmas Eve and my friends bought her for me, and midway through, she asked me 'what's my name?' and I'm like 'oh sh**' she used an alias! And I'm like 'I don't know.' And she socks me in the face and makes a run for it, and I black out. So, I don't really think that counts as breaking your celibacy, right?"

Take it from me, Comrades: trying to rekindle an old friendship and/or flame is a pointless waste of time and efforts.

Got to see the Zombies last night, which was fantastic. Even got a picture with Rod (their keyboard player):

Best show I've seen in a while, y'all should check some of their stuff out if you're not familiar.

My left ear has become numb. I only hear about 50% of the right ear.

Probably check the doctor tomorrow if it doesn't go away. I think I had this once but it went away overnight. I guess there's an enormous amount of earwax in it that's clogging it, which I cannot get rid of because it's too deep in the ear.

Don't use Q-tips. Try running hot water down your ears in the shower.

I wish we could just "turn off" sleepiness in our heads because I'm dead tired after only ~4 hours of sleep. I have work to do Sad

i blame this tiredness on LLR

I didn't.

I went to the doc today and he removed all the ear-wax from inside, by pumping high-speed warm water into my ears. You guys don't even know what amount of ear-wax can be inside the ears ... Tongue

Now my ears are fine again.

Just wrote a huge post with graphs and everything that got eaten by the abyss because I stupidly hit the preview button when I was logged out.  I give up.

So I was eating, when I sneezed and felt something dislodge in my throat. I cough up a disgusting ball of sh**t and now my throat feels better than it has been in days. At least now I know that feeling In my throat was(mainly) not anxiety. I am probably still underestimating the amount of distress my tonsils have caused me over the years.

-It looks like I'm wearing corduroys, a flannel shirt, and a gray jacket I bought from Salvation Army for $2.50 my freshman year to my last undergraduate formal. The last suit I was bought was for a funeral in 2010, when I was shaped differently, and my tux last year was rented. I have no reason to expect anything from my date, so I might as well be comfortable and have fun.
-My thesis defense went well; I can't think of any particularly important details regarding it.
-Saturday was my last time going through composite pictures.
-Sunday I received two undergraduate awards, but nothing particularly spectacular; basically just celebrations of my cumulative GPA. The award for either of my majors eluded me until the end.
-It appears I've been accepted to my graduate program.

Every time this has happened to me and I've bothered to rewrite the original post from memory, my re-draft has been much better than the original as I remember it.

The exact opposite is true for me.

Then it must happen a lot, considering the quality of your posts.

Saw the nurse, and everything appears to be fine. I did not have a heart attack after all.

Have you taken any medication recently? I've been medicated on and off for various ailments over the last couple of years, and certain medications have induced various unpleasant things like palpitations, a raised heart rate, tightness in my chest etcetera.
