I just came back inside from burying my dad's sick cat who died today. The very day after my dad's funeral. This has been quite the weekend. But, to quote Robert Frost, "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on."

I just went to my first swing dance lesson earlier tonight. The lesson was only about an hour, and then we got to freestyle for like 4 hours more. Everyone seemed impressed with my dancing, and one person said that I was a "dance god."

I almost slipped and fell on ice.  The slipperiness is the only part of winter I have much of a problem with.  Thankfully, it looks like we'll avoid the ice storm that could have hit us.
