Realised I haven't done one of these in a while.

Starting uni again this week for the final year; looking forward to the new modules, and to seeing everyone again after summer but I'm not really that excited to go; one of my roommates is a bit of a drip. and my other roommate doesn't move in until next week so I'm trapped with them for a week alone.

Have got my first dissertation meeting as well; I'm doing it on the Labour Party and Gay Rights in the 1980, and I've done most of my research over the summer- just don't have any idea how I'm going to do 10,000 words on the topic.

Started watching the Wire; which I'd really recommend for anyone who hasn't seen it.

It's largely a health decision. I was drinking exorbitant amounts until about 3 weeks ago, but found that I was getting chest pains. I now have one less vice to kick.

Also, today I realized the grim reality of University accommodations. Yay

fun time w/ family. first time celebrating w/ family on rosh hashanah since 5 years. played games w/ my sister and cousins for a few hrs

had a good talk on the ride home w/ my family. Was able to move on from a certain part of my life, it seems. talked about how different people in our family handle stress.

opened up about my depression struggles and how I struggled to define myself as a person. was very relieving and productive.
